It is a long standing tradition that the ESPEN Course in Clinical Nutrition always meets high level of satisfaction by the participants. This year, the 16th Course was recently held in Fruska Gora, Norcev, Serbia (October 8-14, 2009) under the responsability of Prof. Marina Panisic and the National Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition - Serbia. It has been a great success: more than 60 participants from Europe and beyond attended the lectures and the interactive sessions, and enjoyed the warm hospitality of serbian colleagues. The ESPEN Course is becoming an important step in the growth of young ESPEN members within their national societies and ESPEN: indeed, many lecturers at this year’s course were attending the first ESPEN Course in 1994, and they are now teachers.
